1. Shop Purchases & Special Orders

Our shelves carry a carefully curated selection of literature. When purchasing physical items from our shop floor, all sales are final upon leaving the premises, subject to our returns policy below.

If you request a special order for a title we do not currently carry on our shelves, full payment is required at the time the request is made. We will notify you promptly once the volume arrives. Special orders must be collected within thirty days of our initial notification.

2. Literary Event Tickets

We frequently host author readings, book signings, and literary gatherings. Tickets purchased for these activities are strictly non-refundable unless the gathering is cancelled or rescheduled by our staff or the visiting author.

If an event is cancelled, we will automatically issue a refund to your original payment method. Please ensure your contact details are accurate when securing your spot so our booksellers can reach you with updates.

3. Returns & Exchanges

We gladly accept returns or exchanges on unread, pristine editions within fourteen days of the original transaction. You must present your valid receipt to our booksellers at the till to process the exchange or refund.

Please note that custom-ordered volumes, discounted items, and opened merchandise (such as puzzles or sealed art books) are exempt from this policy and cannot be returned.

4. Digital Gift Cards

Gift cards purchased through our independent bookshop do not expire. They may be applied toward any physical edition, merchandise, or ticketed gathering. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
